As we age, most of us are faced with signs of aging around the eyes. In men, it is even the first area of the face to be affected.
There are many topical treatments to fight against dark circles, bags or expression lines that form. Surely you know the patches that are applied under the eye, around dark circles or anti-aging moisturizing creams to revitalize and rejuvenate the look.
We wanted to test a mask that simply slips on like cloth night masks for sleeping or falling asleep on planes despite ambient light.
Its use is mixed since it is suitable for both men and women.
The beginning ? It is a thin plastic mask with two gel-trapping pockets specifically designed to safely change temperature. Therefore, the gel does not touch the skin, but its cold or hot effect will decongest or warm the area on which the mask is applied.
From the first try, we liked the ease of use: its shape is perfectly designed to adequately cover the eyes , with care. The gel-containing pads offer perfect comfort. Thanks to the elastic, the mask stays on well.
What will it be used for?
The objectives are multiple but respond to specific needs:
- Calms tension, minor headaches and feelings of fatigue.
- Reduces dark circles, puffiness and bags under the eyes.
- It offers a feeling of freshness and relaxation.
- Promotes penetration of cosmetic aftercare
We use the mask in 2 ways for 15 minutes each time.
Cold allows to give a blow of vitality to the eye area and resolves the swelling and flaccidity of the skin. We put the mask in the fridge the night before, so that it cools down overnight. When he woke up, he was ready! When you put it on, it’s a bit cold… Ideal in summer, it’s a bit more difficult to grip in winter… but the tightening effect is almost immediate. And that’s the goal! 15 minutes later, it is noticeable that the area is less swollen, our eyes are fresher!
Hot , it helps to fight against bluish circles under the eyes, skin that lacks firmness. We live a real relaxing . You can use it in your bathtub. If it is better to use it cold in the morning, it is more pleasant to use it hot at night. To do this, heat the mask by placing it in hot (but not boiling) water for 5 minutes. Place a small damp cloth over the eyes to maintain the desired temperature and prevent the mask from coming into direct contact with the eyelids. Aim to relax the eye area achieved.
We finish by applying a moisturizing cream around the eyes. Your action will be even more effective after this little session like this…
