Man deserves to take care of himself and he also encounters skin problems on a daily basis. Let’s see together the main problems and proper care.
The most common skin problems in men
A man’s skin is relatively thicker than a woman’s. In fact, a man’s epidermis would be 15-25% thicker. Consequently, it becomes more resistant and firmer, making it less sensitive to the appearance of wrinkles in particular.
However, men’s skin is prone to sebum like women’s and some problems are mainly due to shaving, which causes dehydration and redness.
Other fairly common problems such as acne, eczema and psoriasis can proliferate on men’s skin. In general, they are caused by testosterone, but also by external sources such as the change of season, cold or heat or even emotions such as stress in particular.
As we can read in this article, for example, the latter is well known for showing the first symptoms of herpes.
But let’s go back to everyday problems: each one has its solution and can be treated easily and even naturally.
How to take care of your skin daily?
Having beautiful skin depends on a daily routine in which it will be necessary to cleanse and moisturize morning and night with the right products. To this, an exfoliation once or twice a week can also help remove dead skin, clean pores more deeply and regenerate the skin.
For problems related to shaving, it will be necessary to dry the skin carefully and use a mild aftershave product.
As for natural products, you can resort in particular to Jojoba vegetable oil, capable of regulating sebum production but also protecting and repairing. Aloe vera gel is also recommended for the most sensitive skin. Finally, mint hydrosol will be an excellent ally as an aftershave thanks to its soothing and refreshing properties.
And in spring?
Spring is a fundamental season for the skin. After a winter season of suffering from the cold and the wind, in addition to the sometimes excessive heat and a very (or too) rich diet, the skin is put to the test.
To restore radiance, it is essential to continue with the daily skin care routine.
More frequent exfoliations and a mask per week can also be excellent allies to start the summer season.
To this you can add a detox cure through food thanks to foods rich in antioxidants and vitamins. Good hydration is also essential, at least 2 liters of water a day will be necessary.
